Staring the "real" world in the face!

I am a senior in college, thinking agout what I want to do when I get out. Not really sure, but maybe writing things down will help me figure it out.

So, today, huh?

This past weekend was so great! I got to spend all day Saturday with my boyfriend.
It started with donuts and sonic cokes! Yeah for a sugar rush. Then we went to Lewisville. We went to the pet store and looked at puppies (we had to leave in a hurry so I didn't walk out with a pup)! Then we went to the Army/Navy store to look for articles of clothing for Halloween. We (plus some friends) are going as the gang from M*A*S*H! That will be so awesome!
Then onto the scuba place to pick up a regulator for my dad, the scuba adventurer!
Then we went to another pet store, Academy (where we got tennis rackets), and then to lunch at Razoo's. I had never been to a Razoo's but it was so good. I loved the fried pickles!!!
After a relaxing lunch (and way too much to eat), we were planning on going home. But on the way, we passed a Toyota dealer and decided to stop. You see, after he graduates, his parents are buying him a truck, and he wants a Toyota Tacoma. So we stopped and looked for a while. Then we talked to someone there; this guy was definitely excited to be working there. And then we went out for a test drive. My boyfriend absolutely loved the truck! He would have bought it that day, if he could have afforded it.
Well, then we finally went home. We split for a little while, so he could do homework. But then back together for some TV.
It was such a great day!!! I so love this guy!

Staring the "real" world in the face!

So, it's Friday! I made it through the week. That's always a good thing! Four weeks down, 12 to go! Twelve is still a lot, but it's better than 16.

Well, I tried my hardest to get out of having to go to work this morning. But when I called, they informed me that someone else had already called in. So here I am. At work. Not wanting to be here. I had already started making plans as to what I was going to do with my day off. I was going to call two of my best friends and see if they wanted to go to the Galleria for some ice skating. I thought that would be so much fun! Maybe we can all go tomorrow (that is, if I get my homework done0.

So, I'm a senior in college, and I really thought that once I got to this level, I would be having all sorts of fun. Boy, was I wrong? I am now doing homework first thing in the mornings, late into the night, and on Saturdays. That's not supposed to be happening. I don't want to do my work on Saturdays... that is when I am supposed to be having fun with friends. And this semester I am not getting to spend much time at all with my boyfriend. Right now, we are averaging about 45 minutes a day during the week, and a few hours on the weekends. That's not a lot considering this is his last semester here, before he graduates and commissions into the Air Force.

And the Air Force situation is a whole other story that I really don't want to get into right now. So for now, I'm going to go!

Staring the "real" world in the face!

Last night was so great for me! I got to meet up with my mom and dad, and have hamburgers with them. It wasn't about the hamburgers... it was about the fact that I needed some family TLC! I love my family so much! And they are willing to listen to me voice my complaints about stress, and school, and everything. But it is always hard to say good bye to them. I just know that when I leave, it's back to the world of stress and worries and responsibilities.
But I'm ok. It's Wednesday, which means that this week is almost half over. And after this week, only 12 more weeks of school till Christmas break! Yippee!!!
Any way... for now, I need to go do laundry.

Today

Well, today is Tuesday, even though I have been trying my hardest to make it Wednesday. School is already kicking my butt... only 13.5 weeks to go! Anything is better than 16 weeks. I'm really looking forward to December, although that means my boyfriend will graduate and commission. That, I don't look forward to.
